I am on a silent (barely audible, not so silent) crusade to soften our image - beginning with the front of the house. It does me absolutely no good to see that his cactus does occasionally bear flowers. This cactus, however, has a spiny mind of it's own. To be sure that it's prickly image is not tarnished by this gigantic flower clip it has donned this morning - it has attracted no less than six bees...
