How do you know it is sinking in?

How can you be sure that merely by observation and perception they get it?

This is how.

Conversation overheard in the car last night:

Mom: (boring details left out for brevity's sake) ...so after you get home from school you will get to play a little bit, and then you will get cleaned up, and then you need to put your church clothes on. You are going to church (for Primary Program Practice)
...
Karina: Oh, I get it, Mom - It's like a "kid meeting".

(...thinking: yes - and you need to magnify your calling!)

Either she gets it, or we should be ashamed that the only times we get dressed up and go out are the multiple times a week one of us is leaving for a church meeting.
