Grizzly Bears are not Quirky

Daddy's quirks...
Daddy is hardly quirky, but here are a few things that you may not know about him that annoy the pants off of me.

1. His obsession with a clean windshield. He could have worked a full day in full length pants and a long-sleeved shirt, 117 degrees outside, on his way to the dump in a big work truck that stinks like Diesel and cut grass, full of trash in the back and he has that not so fresh feeling because a tiny fly lost its life on the window. He cannot stand to see bug guts on the windshield. As if it is not humiliating enough to have ended your life splattered on the windshield of a truck, he rubs washer fluid in the wound by hosing them down and wiping them out. He even has some sort of special blend of washer fluid... extra soapy and fragrant.

2. He can watch the same movie 97,000 times without getting tired of it. He can recite all of the lines and has quite a talent for noticing "film flubs". (Flub: errors or bloopers that did not get edited before film is released)

He is looking into starting a network called "Jack (ryan) TV". It will play "The Hunt for Red October" all day everyday.

Some movies that I will claw my eyes out if I have to watch one more time:
*The aforementioned Russian Sub movie, or any movie with a submarine in it...
*Executive Decision... seriously.
*Groundhog Day. confused by his responsibility, I think he is trying to watch it repeatedly until he gets it right?

3. We go to bed early. Most babies and grandparents think we are wet blankets. He wakes hours before dawn cracks, so by necessity he sleeps before the sun sets. We had a rule - no phone calls after dark. That does not seem to be working... so... new rule: No phone calls or door bell ringing after 7.

So in the spirit of our theme...
whoever woke the sleeping Grizzly tonight at 9:30 pm by ringing the doorbell like a crazy person and then running... leaving no "treats" on the doorstep...
